UP Special TET 2026 OTR Mandatory

Upper Primary Level

The eligibility requirements are different depending on whether the applicant is a regular eligible working teacher or a Special Educator (CWSN).

Eligibility for Primary Level Teachers

Teachers working in eligible Primary-level schools are eligible to appear for the Primary Level Special TET, subject to the conditions given in the notification.

Eligibility for Upper Primary Level Teachers

Teachers working in eligible Upper Primary/Junior High School-level institutions are eligible to appear for the Upper Primary Level Special TET, subject to the notification conditions.

• A valid RCI registration certificate with an active CRR number.

Eligibility for Special Educators (CWSN) – Classes 6 to 8

• Graduation.
• B.Ed. Special Education or an equivalent qualification recognised by the RCI.
