UP Assitant Teacher Exam: Uttar Pradesh Government has announced 17000 vacancies for the post of Assistant Teacher. The recruitment process will begin soon. The Government will seek fresh applications for these vacancies. Meanwhile, the government will complete the recruitment process for the 69000 Assistant Teachers post released in 2019 and the process for the same has begun on 24th December 2021.
The Uttar Pradesh Government will re-start the process of recruitment of 69000 Assistant Teachers Post. The Recruitment Exam for the Assistant Teacher Post was held in 2018 by the Basic Education Board, Uttar Pradesh. However, due to an appeal registered in the Supreme Court of India regarding a discrepancy in the recruitment process in the reserved category, the recruitment process was stalled. Now, the case has been resolved and the Uttar Pradesh Government has started the recruitment process once again on 24th December 2021. Based on the verdict passed by the Honourable Supreme Court of India, 17000 vacant posts (after the 68000 and 69000 post recruitment) of the Assistant teachers are also to be filled thereafter.
According to the notice, the process flow has been made available to the State Informatics Science Center by 24th December 2021. Based on the process flow, the selection list for the reserved category will be prepared by 28th December 2021. The selection list will be tested by the State Informatics Science Center by 29th December 2021 and by the 30th December the selection will be published on their official website.
The document verification process will be conducted at the district level will be between 3rd January 2022 to 5th January 2022. The appointment letter will be issued to the candidates who clear the document verification process from 6th January 2022.
The candidates alleged that out of 18,598 seats reserved for OBC candidates, 5,844 seats were given to the general category candidates. An appeal was made to the Supreme Court and the candidates had to wait for more than 1 and half years to get justice. Finally, the Supreme Court verdicts stated that these 5,844 seats will be filled by the OBC candidates and the UP Government has announced that the process for the same has been commenced on the 24th December 2021.
The recruitment process of 1.37 vacancies for the post of Assistant Teacher was conducted in two phases. In 2018 (first phase), 68000 vacancies were filled and in 2019, 69000 vacancies were addressed. Out of which, 6000 reserved category candidates will be given their appointment letters based on their document verification process. Once this process is concluded successfully, the Uttar Pradesh Government will start the recruitment process for 17000 new vacancies for the Assistant Teacher post.
