The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC Selection Post Phase XIV 2026 Exam in 3 stages in the Selection process, which are:

SSC Selection Post Phase 14: Stage 1
Stage 1 of the SSC Selection Post Phase 14 is a computer-based test, which is conducted for a total of 200 marks. The test includes 100 multiple-choice question,s and the candidates get 60 minutes to solve the paper.

SSC Selection Post Phase 14: Stage 2 Skill Test
This stage will only be conducted if there is any need to assess some skill for the post. The skill test will only be conducted for selected posts.
SSC Selection Post Phase 14: Stage 3 Document Verification
The final stages of the selection process is the document verification. In this stage, the commission will verify the documents submitted by the candidates during the application process. These may include the domicile, caste, age, and educational details.
SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Exam Pattern 2026
The SSC Selection Post Phase 14 exam will include 100 multiple-choice questions, with each question carrying 2 marks. The total exam duration will be 60 minutes, while candidates using a scribe will be given 80 minutes. A negative marking of 0.50 marks will apply for every wrong answer. The difficulty level of the questions will be based on the educational qualification prescribed for the post. The paper will be divided into four sections, the details of which are provided separately.

SSC Selection Post Phase XIV Document Verification
Candidates who meet the cut-off marks in the SSC Selection Post Exam will be shortlisted for the Document Verification round. The Staff Selection Commission will announce the schedule for this stage. Candidates must attend the Document Verification; failure to do so may result in the cancellation of their candidature.
The Commission will provide a list of required documents, and candidates must bring both the original and self-attested copies. Below is the list of documents that candidates need to carry to the verification centre.
