As per the official schedule, the SSC CGL Notification 2026 will be released on 31st March 2026 in PDF format on the official website at www.ssc.gov.in. SSC CGL Selection Process

The SSC CGL selection process consists of multiple tiers to assess candidates' suitability for various government posts:

  1. Tier-I (Preliminary Exam): Objective-type, computer-based exam. Tests General Intelligence, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and General Awareness.
  2. Tier-II (Main Exam): Computer-based, divided into multiple sections. Includes quantitative aptitude, English language, general studies (finance & economics), and computer proficiency for relevant posts.

The mode of the application for SSC CGL 2026 is completely online. It includes registration, upload of documents, and application fee payment. The SSC CGL Online Application Fee payable is Rs 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Fee can be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at the SBI Branch by generating an SBI Challan.
