Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has set eligibility criteria for shortlisting the candidates who are eligible to fill up 5696 vacant posts for Assistant Loco Pilot. Candidates must complete their engineering diploma from authorized universities and have a matriculation plus an ITI certificate. Candidates have also to fulfill the age group criteria between 18 to 33. Those candidates who can come in this age group are eligible to apply for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024.

RRB ALP Age Limit 2024 (Revised)

Before applying for the RRB ALP Recruitment 2024 candidates have to know the age requirements. Candidates’ ages must be 18 to 33 years as per the eligibility criteria revised. Candidates who are General and EWS should been born from 02.07.1991 to 01.07.2006. Candidates who were born on 01.07.2006 only those candidates are eligible for the RRB Assistant Loco Pilot.

RRB ALP Age Relaxations 2024

The Railway Recruitment Board conducts RRB ALP Exam 2024. The authority is giving some age relaxation for some categories of people. In the below table, we have provided the age relaxation for those categories.

RRB ALP Eligibility 2024 Nationality

Nationality is one of the primary elements out of three in RRB ALP Eligibility Criteria 2024. The RRB ALP for the nationality, candidates must be.

  1. A Tibetan refugee who travelled to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently live in India,
  2. A person of Indian origin who has permanently settled in India after migrating from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
