OICL AO Exam Pattern 2026
The OICL AO 2026 Online Exam will be held in two stages: Prelims and Mains. Complete details of the exam pattern for both phases are provided below.
OICL AO Prelims Exam Pattern 2026
The OICL AO Preliminary Examination is conducted in an objective format with 100 questions carrying 1 mark each. Candidates are given 60 minutes to complete the test, with 20 minutes allotted to each section. A penalty of 0.25 marks is deducted for every incorrect response. The exam comprises the following three sections:

OICL AO Mains Exam Pattern 2026
The OICL AO Main Examination comprises an Objective Test carrying 200 marks and a Descriptive Test of 30 marks.
Both tests are conducted online, with the descriptive paper commencing immediately after the objective test. For the objective section, 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
The objective test is divided into five sections and must be completed within 150 minutes, with separate sectional timings as outlined below.
