The India Infrastructure Finance Company Limited (IIFCL) is a government-owned company that is responsible for providing financial assistance to infrastructure projects.

On 8th May 2026, the company has released an official notification inviting applications for the Assistant General Manager post (Grade C) from suitable candidates all over India. The selection process consists of an Interview process (psychometric, technical and behavioural).

As mentioned above, this recruitment does not include a vacancy for ST or SC candidates. So, candidates belonging to OBC, UR, and EWS can apply.

IIFCL AGM Eligibility Criteria

As per the official notification, candidates must meet the following age, educational qualification, and experience requirements to be eligible for the post of Assistant General Manager (AGM):

Age Limit

Maximum age: 40 years (as on the cut-off date mentioned in the notification). Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Government of India rules.

Educational Qualification (Discipline-wise)

Candidates must possess a full-time degree from a recognised university/institution relevant to the discipline they are applying for, such as:

• Finance/Accounts: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) / PG in Finance
• Risk Management: MBA / PG in Finance / Risk / Banking
• Legal: LLB (full-time)
• Information Technology: B.E./B.Tech / MCA in relevant field
• Human Resources: MBA / PG in HR / Personnel Management
• Administration: Graduate with relevant specialization/experience

Post-Qualification Experience

Candidates must have a minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience in the relevant field.

Experience in banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, government organisations, or reputed corporate institutions is preferred as specified for each discipline.

IIFCL AGM Salary

Selected candidates will receive a starting basic pay of Rs. 77,950 per month in the following pay scale: Rs. 77,950 – 2,850 (3) – 86,500 – 3,100 (2) – 92,700 – 3,300 (4) – 1,05,900 – EB – 3,300 (2) – 1,12,500 – 3,550 (1) – 1,16,050 (after 13 years).

In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be eligible for:
