To apply for the United India Insurance AO Recruitment, candidates must meet the specified Educational Qualifications and Age Limit for the respective post. The eligibility criteria for UIIC AO positions are outlined below:

Age Limit

Education Qualification

UIIC AO 2026 Exam Pattern

The UIIC AO Written Exam will be held for 250 marks for 200 questions. The questions will be of MCQ type and each question carries 1 mark. Check the UIIC AO Exam Pattern below.

  • The Online Examination comprises a total of 200 questions in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format.
  • The duration of the exam is set at 2 hours 30 minutes.
  • For each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 1/4th mark.
  • The exam is divided into five sections: Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to the Financial Sector), and Computer Literacy.

UIIC AO Descriptive Paper 2026

The Descriptive Test will last 30 minutes and carry a total of 30 marks. It will assess English Language skills, with 10 marks for Letter Writing and 20 marks for an Essay. This test will be conducted in English via an online platform. Candidates must achieve the minimum required score in each section of the objective test to be considered for the evaluation of the Descriptive Test.

UIIC AO 2026 Application Fee

According to the UIIC AO official notification, candidates must pay the required application fee to complete the application process. Without the fee, the submission will be considered incomplete, leading to the rejection of the UIIC AO application form. The application fee is non-refundable once submitted.

For SC, ST, PWD candidates, and permanent employees of PSGI Companies, the fee is Rs. 250/-, while all other applicants must pay Rs. 1000/-. The payment can be made online through the official UIIC website.

UIIC AO 2026 Salary

After the selection process, candidates appointed as Administrative Officer (Scale I) Generalists & Specialists will undergo a 1-year probation period. Once the probation is over, they will receive a basic salary of Rs. 50,925, with annual increments.

In addition to the basic pay, candidates will be eligible for various allowances and benefits such as Gratuity, LTS (Leave Travel Subsidy), Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance, Performance Linked Incentive (PLI), and National Pension System (NPS). For those working in Metropolitan centers, the total salary will be around Rs. 88,000 per month.
