RRC SER GDCE Eligibility Criteria 2024
For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, candidates must have completed Matriculation/SSLC and obtained an ITI certificate from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in trades like Armature and Coil Warder, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Fitter, Heat Engine, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist, or other relevant trades. Alternatively, candidates can possess a 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institute.
For the position of Trains Manager (Goods Guard), candidates should hold a Degree from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification.

The salary structure for the Assistant Loco Pilot position includes a pay scale of 5200 – 20,200 with a Grade Pay (GP) of 1900 at Level 2 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC). The Trains Managers (Goods Guard) salary is in the same pay scale but with a higher Grade Pay (GP) of 2800 at Level-5 of the 7th CPC.
