RPF Application Form 2024, Apply Online for Constable and SI Posts

If you are eligible to appear for the Railway Exams, you must be thrilled that the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is conducting the RPF Recruitment 2024 for 4660 SI and Constable posts. For recruitment, the RPF Apply Online process is now active on the official website @www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in. Also, note that the last date to apply online for RPF is 14th May 2024.

You can fill out and submit the application form and ensure that you are appearing for the recruitment. After the RPF Application Process, you will have to appear for selection stages such as Computer-based Test, PMT, PST, and DV. How to Fill Out the RPF Application Form?

We have shared below the detailed steps to submit your RPF Police Constable and SI Application Form correctly.

Step 1: Go to the official Railway Protection Force website at www.rpf.indianrailways.gov.in.

Step 2: Sign up on the recruitment portal by entering your basic details such as name, contact information, and email. You’ll get a registration ID and password.

Step 3: Log in to the portal using the provided registration ID and password.

Step 4: Complete the application form with necessary details including personal information, educational background, and other relevant data.

Step 5: Upload scanned copies of required documents like your photo, signature, and certificates, ensuring they meet specified file size and format guidelines.

Step 6: Pay the application fee online according to your category, using debit/credit cards, net banking, or other available methods.

Step 7: Double-check your application to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all provided information.

Step 8: Download and print a copy of the RPF application form for your records.

Note:- Throughout the recruitment process, candidates are required to maintain an active personal mobile number and email address, as all correspondence will be conducted solely through SMS and/or email.

Size of Documents Required for RPF Application Process

Candidates need 3 documents such as Passport-size photograph, signature, and caste certificate. The Board has mentioned the prescribed size and format for these documents which we have mentioned here. The Passport-size photograph and signature should be in JPEG format and should be between 30-70kb size.

RPF Application Fee 2024

Candidates must submit the application fee and fill out the application form. The application fee can be paid online through a debit/credit card, UPI, or any other payment gateway. The RPF Recruitment 2024 application to be paid by the OBC/General category is Rs. 500/- and Female/SC/ST/ESM/EBC candidates must pay Rs. 250/-

Ensure you receive the application fee submission confirmation later on because if the payment is successful, the application fee will not be considered complete.

***Affidavit for ‘Minority Community Declaration’: Minority candidates claiming waiver of examination fee will be required to furnish an affidavit (as per Annexure IV) on non-judicial stamp paper mentioning their minority community at the time of DV, failing which their candidature will be rejected.

RPF Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must go through the eligibility criteria before applying for the RPF Recruitment 2024. The criteria (as prescribed by RPF) for Constable and SI posts include the following:

RPF SI Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the Sub Inspector (Executive) post, you must be between 21 and 28 years old and have completed a Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.

RPF Constable Eligibility Criteria: To apply for the Constable (Executive) post, candidates must have passed 10th/SSLC from a recognised Board and should be 18-25 years old.

The above-discussed criteria are the minimum eligibility that the candidate must have. In the case of the reserved category, some relaxation in terms of age and Physical standards have been provided to them.

Important Points to Remember

1. Read all the important instructions given on the portal, before filling out the application form.
2. Regarding the application fee, Applications submitted without the required fee will not be accepted and will be rejected without further consideration. There will be no opportunity for appeal against such rejections.
3. Once the online application has been finally submitted, candidates who wish to make any modifications, changes, or corrections, excluding those in the ‘Create an Account’ section (including mobile number and email ID), can do so by paying a non-refundable modification fee of ₹250 for each instance. It’s important to note that details provided in the ‘Create an Account’ section, including mobile number and email ID, cannot be altered.
4. RRBs will not entertain any request for change of mobile number and e-mail address at any stage.
5. It’s recommended that candidates submit their online applications well ahead of the closing date to avoid any last-minute rush. This is because heavy internet traffic is likely during the final days.
