Age Limit As on 1st May 2025
The age limit within which candidates can apply is 20 to 30 years. They should not be born before 2nd May 1995 or after the 1st May 2005. However, age relaxation is provided to certain category candidates:

Indian Overseas Bank LBO Exam Pattern 2025
The exam consists of 4 sections namely Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, General / Economy / Banking Awareness, Data Analysis and Interpretation and English. Total marks is 200 and exam duration is 3 hours. Also, there is a negative marking of 1/4th or 0.25 mark.

IOB Local Bank Officer Salary
The pay scale for the post of Assistant Manager (Scale I) is Rs. 48480-2000/7-62480-2340/2-67160-2680/7-85920. The starting basic salary is Rs. 48480 and annual increments are given. In addition to the basic pay, employees will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), and other admissible benefits as per rules in effect at the time. Newly appointed candidates will undergo a probation period of 2 years of active service. The Bank’s Financial Service Indemnity Bond is Rs. 2,00,000 which candidates need to sign.
