The National Testing Agency has started the Common University Entrance Test for undergraduate admission from May 13th, 2025. This year, more than 14 lakhs of students appeared in the exam throughout the country. NTA is administering the CUET 2025 exam in Computer-Based Test (CBT) format at specified CUET UG 2025 exam sites across India and certain overseas destinations. CUET UG GAT Paper analysis
The CUET UG General Test question paper was a significantly more difficult test than the previous year, particularly in the Quantitative Ability segment. Logical Reasoning received the most queries, whereas Current Affairs had a smaller imprint. However, questions from Static General Knowledge, which were frequently related to current events, received a high ranking. On average, students were asked 12-13 questions from the GK and Current Affairs areas.
CUET UG English Paper analysis
In the CUET UG English question paper, the focus is on vocabulary. A large percentage of questions relied on synonyms and antonyms, providing students with an advantage if they possessed a broad vocabulary. Only three reading sections were asked on the paper, one factual and two narrative, accounting for approximately 12 questions in total. Grammar-based questions were down from prior years, and the general difficulty level was considered to be between easy and moderate.
CUET Economics Exam Analysis
Candidates attempting the Economics question paper were rated easy to moderate; a few hard questions tested even the best-prepared students. The paper was focused on Microeconomics over Macroeconomics, with the addition of certain newly added topics offered by the NTA.
