UP Police Constable Exam 2024 Cancelled, Re-Exam To Be Held

UP Police Constable Exam 2024 Cancelled: The UP Police Constable Exam held on 17th and 18th February 2024 across multiple centres in the state of Uttar Pradesh has been cancelled. As per the news, the question papers were leaked and as a result, the exam held now stands null and void. In a tweet by the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, it has been informed that the exam will be re-held within six months and no compromises will be made in the sanctity of the exam.

UP Police Constable Exam 2024 Cancelled

A big relief has been provided to the candidates who appeared for the UP Police Constable Exam 2024. Many candidates in Uttar Pradesh especially from the cities of Lucknow and Kanpur protested against the paper leak of the UP Police Constable Exam 2024. Candidates were demanding the cancellation of the present exam and holding a re-exam to maintain the authenticity of the selection of the eligible candidates.

By investigating the matter and taking into consideration the candidate’s demands, on 24th February 2024, the CM of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji, took the social media platform X and announced the cancellation of the present exam. Additionally, he informed me that a re-exam for the same will be held within 6 months maintaining the decorum and authenticity. An official complaint has also been filed and the investigation to find the culprits behind the paper leak is also in process. A Special Test Force (STF) has been handling the responsibility of this. The candidates will be provided with free travel facilities across the state on the day of the re-exam through the Uttar Pradesh Transport Corporation.
