BSNL has announced a total of 15 vacancies for the post of General Manager (Finance & Accounts).

BSNL General Manager Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the post must fulfil the educational qualification and experience requirements prescribed by BSNL.

Age Limit:

Candidates must not be more than 50 years of age as of the last date for submitting the application form. The official notification has not mentioned any age relaxation for reserved categories.

Educational Qualification:

• Chartered Accountant (CA)
• Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
• MBA in Finance
• PG Diploma in Management (Finance)

Candidates must also have significant experience in finance, accounting, auditing, budgeting, or related fields.

Experience:

Candidates should have at least 15 years of post-qualification experience in the Finance and Accounts field at the Executive or Management level. Out of this, a minimum of 5 years should be in a senior managerial position (DGM level or above).

The experience must be gained in listed companies or organisations with an average annual turnover of Rs. 3,000 crore or more during the last three years, supported by audited financial statements or other valid documents.

BSNL General Manager Salary 2026

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 2,25,000, with an annual increment of 5%. The remuneration is consolidated in nature, and no additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA) will be provided. Apart from the salary, candidates will be provided with a service telephone connection and a vehicle for official use.

However, they will not be eligible for benefits such as residential accommodation, medical reimbursement, pension, post-retirement medical facilities, or any pay protection and service-related benefits from previous employment.
