The IPMAT 2024 exam dates have been officially announced by the examination conducting authority. The IPMAT 2024 exam will be held on 23rd May 2024. The exam will be held in the afternoon shift. IPMAT 2024

IPMAT 2024 is a national-level exam that is held for admission into the popular five-year Integrated Program in Management available at IIM Indore. The IPMAT stands for Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test. IPMAT 2024 will be held in the online mode and all its application process will be completed in online mode through the official website. IIM Indore does not allow the offline application process of the IPMAT exam. IPMAT 2024 is renowned for its difficult questions, which call for the use of analytical, critical, and logical thinking abilities in addition to academic knowledge.

What is IPMAT?

IPMAT is a management exam (national-level) that aims to create top management leaders of India by providing a holistic education in management from a very early age. The Five-Year Integrated Program in Management (IPM), India’s most sought-after management program, can be accessed through the IPMAT 2024 exam.  Under the dual-degree program that IIM Indore offers, IPMAT combines a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree.

Students who want to pursue careers in management and business disciplines opt for this program. IIM Indore will award the students a Bachelor of Arts (Foundations of Management) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) upon completion of the course. This course is highly reputed in the Indian corporate world. Students graduating from this course gets hefty placement packages. Due to this, IPMAT exam is highly competitive and coveted.

IPMAT 2024 Overview

IPMAT exam is conducted once every year in online mode. The examination is conducted by IIM Indore each year for admission into IPM program. The IPM program was launched by IIM Indore in 2011. The Associations of MBAs, London has accredited the unique IPM program for both fourth and fifth years. IPM is for young people who want to be managers and leaders. IPMAT 2024 Exam Date

The IPMAT 2024 exam date has been released by IIM Indore. IPMAT 2024 exam will be held on 23 May 2024 in the afternoon shift. The IPMAT 2024 exam will be held in a single shift on the designated exam date. The examination will be held for a duration of 2 hours. The IPMAT exam is just one of the two phases of the admission process. For the first time, IIM Indore released the IPMAT exam date 6 months earlier.

IPMAT 2024 Registration Date

IIM Indore will soon release the relevant information and notification regarding the IPMAT 2024 registration dates. As per the previous trends, it is expected that IIM Indore will release the IPMAT 2024 application form in the first week of March 2024. The registration process is likely to continue for a period of 1 month. The application form will be made available online on the official website only. The notification regarding the IPMAT 2024 application form is expected to be out by the second week of February 2024. The application form will be made available online on the official website from the 1st week of March 2024. IPMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the IPMAT exam, candidates must read the eligibility criteria laid out by IIM Indore. Only those candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be allowed to appear for the IPMAT exam. The IPMAT 2024 eligibility criteria is given below.

Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12/HSC or equivalent exam from a recognized education board. Candidates who are in final year of their Class 12 (HSC) or equivalent are also eligible to apply subject to passing the exam by 31 July of that year.

Qualifying Year: Candidates must have passed the exam in no more than two sessions earlier, i.e., candidates wanting to apply for IPMAT 2024 exam must have passed their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam in 2022, 2023 or 2024.

Age Limit: Candidates should not be more than 20 years. That is, candidates applying for IPMAT 2024 must have born on or after 1 August 2004. Candidates hailing from SC/ST/PWD categories will be given 5 years age relaxation.

Qualifying Percentage: There is no minimum qualifying percentage required in either class 10 or class 12.

IPMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The IPMAT 2024 exam will consist of three sections: Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Quantitative Ability (SA), and Verbal Ability (MCQ). The Verbal Ability will have only multiple choice questions (MCQs) while the Quantitative Ability will have both multiple choice questions (MCQs) and short answer questions (SA). IPMAT 2024 Selection Process

The IPMAT 2024 merit list will be prepared on the basis of composite score. The composite score will comprise the aptitude test score and the Personal Interview marks. Candidates who will clear the cut off of the IPMAT exam will be called for the next phase of Personal Interview (PI). IPMAT 2024 Exam Centers

IIM Indore announces the cities where test takers can take the IPMAT exam. These are known as IPMAT exam centers. In as many as 28 cities across India, IPMAT 2024 will take place. Applicants will be able to select the exam center during the application form-filling process. Students will have to select for multiple exam centers in order of preference and based on that preference, the students will be allocated an exam center.
