Students must receive at least 23 out of 70 in each subject and at least 33 out of 100 in the overall exam in order to pass the Jharkhand Board 12th Exam 2024. A student won’t be considered passed if they don’t achieve these standards. However, the board may pass some students by opting the provision of the grace marks. Students who receive a passing grade on their exams are granted grace marks by the Jharkhand Board. Grace marks are given based on the following standards:

• A student will receive grace marks to pass a subject if their failure percentage is less than 5% of the total possible points.
• If a student receives fewer than 3% of the possible marks in two subjects, they will be granted grace marks, allowing them to pass both subjects.
• A student will receive the required marks to be awarded a higher division if they receive 5% or less less than the required division.
