To check the SSC GD Constable Results 2024, visit the official SSC website (ssc.gov.in). There, you will find two PDF files: one containing the cut-off marks and another listing the merit list. Simply look for the SSC GD result 2024 link, and download both PDFs to view the qualifying scores and the names of successful candidates.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Now, on the Homepage, look for and click on the “Result” icon found in the upper right corner.

Step 3: Navigate to the “CONSTABLE-GD” tab under Results. You’ll find separate rows for male and female SSC GD Constable Results here.

Step 4: Within each row, there are three columns: “Write Up,” “Result,” and “Marks.” The “Write Up” column contains essential information such as cutoff marks, the “Result” column displays the list of candidates who have qualified, and the “Marks” column will soon display marks provided by SSC.

Important Information about SSC GD Result 2024

Here is some important information/statistics provided by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) regarding the number of selected candidates, PET/PST details, etc.

• As mentioned above, a total of 3,46,404 candidates have been selected, out of which 38,328 are female candidates and 3,08,076 are male candidates.
• The results for 1061 candidates (List-III) have been withheld due to suspected malpractices and various court orders. Additionally, the results for 730 candidates, who have been debarred by the Commission, have not been processed (List-IV).
• Call letters for candidates shortlisted for the PST/PET, to be conducted by the CAPFs at a later date, will be issued by the Nodal CAPF (CRPF). Candidates are advised to visit the CRPF website (https://rect.crpf.gov.in) for more information.
• The Final Answer Keys and the Question Papers with Response Sheets for the Computer Based Examination are available from 10th July 2024 (06:00 PM) to 24th July 2024 (06:00 PM).

SSC GD Result 2024 Qualifying Marks

SSC GD Merit List 2024

The SSC GD Merit List 2024 will be prepared for the candidates in which includes the qualification status for each stage. Candidates for the SSC GD exam are shortlisted based on their merit, including any applicable NCC bonus marks, for the PST/PET stage.

This selection is done state/area-wise and category-wise, with around eight times the number of candidates as there are vacancies. Those who pass the PST/PET are then shortlisted again, using the same criteria of merit and NCC bonus marks, for the DME/DV stage. This time, about twice the number of candidates as there are vacancies are selected.

SSC GD Result 2024 Declaration Criteria

The declaration criteria of the SSC GD Result 2024 is decided by the Staff Selection Commission. The criteria for the release of the result has been discussed below for the candidates.

• SSC GD Exam Result: Candidates whose SSC GD 2024 applications are shortlisted are invited to take the computer-based exam. Those who pass this exam move on to the next stage.
• SSC GD Physical Result: Successful candidates then undergo a physical efficiency test and/or physical standard test. The CRPF announces the results of these PET/PST exams. Candidates who pass these tests proceed to the final stage.
• SSC GD DME/DV & Final Result: The final stage involves a Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Document Verification (DV). The DME checks if candidates are medically fit to serve as a Constable or Rifleman, while the DV verifies their eligibility. The Commission announces the SSC GD final result after completing the DME/DV stage.

What is the next stage after the GD Constable Result 2024 is released?

Based on the performance in the SSC GD CBT Exam, the Commission prepares a list of candidates who will move to the next round of the selection process, which is the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test.

At this stage, candidates will be evaluated based on their physical body build, such as height, chest, and weight measurements and activities like running. The criteria are different for male and female candidates.

Those who qualify for the PET/PST stage will then be called for Medical Examination and Document Verification.
