Factors Affecting SBI Clerk Cut Off
There are several factors affecting the SBI Clerk JA Cut Off, and here is the list of them.
- Exam Difficulty: The difficulty level of the SBI Clerk exam directly affects the cut-off scores. Tougher exams generally result in lower cut-offs.
- Number of Vacancies: Higher vacancies often lead to a lower cut-off, whereas fewer vacancies may result in a higher cut-off.
- Total Applicants: More applicants can increase competition, potentially raising the cut-off score.
- Reservation Quota: Cut-off marks vary across different categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and EWS due to reservation quotas. The availability of candidates in each category affects their respective cut-offs.
- Previous Year Cut Off: The cut-off marks from the previous year serve as a benchmark for the current year’s cut-off. It provides insights into the historical trend of cut-off scores.
- Normalisation Process: In cases where multiple shifts are conducted, a normalisation process ensures fairness in score evaluation. This process adjusts scores to account for variations in the difficulty level across different exam sessions, which can impact the final cut-off.
