SBI Circle-Based Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026
The SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria include key requirements related to educational qualification, age limit, work experience, nationality, and local language proficiency. Candidates who meet all these conditions are eligible for the SBI Circle-Based Officer post.
Education Qualification Required
Candidates applying for the SBI CBO post must hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or possess an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government, including an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD). Applicants with professional qualifications such as Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, or Cost Accountancy are also eligible to apply.
SBI CBO Age Limit (As On 31/12/2025)

Experience Required for Circle-Based Officer post
A minimum of 2 years of experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
Local Language Test
Candidates must know the state language in which they are applying. The Local language proficiency test will be conducted as part of the selection process but if any candidate can show their 10th/12th marksheet evidencing having studied the opted language, then they need to appear for the LPT.
