Is it necessary to take admission in the first cutoff at DU?

Candidates who meet the DU cutoff marks will be generally considered acceptable for any undergraduate programme in their preferred college. Candidates who secured a place in DU's first cutoff 2025 list are required to visit their relevant Delhi University department or institution to finish the document verification process. Candidates who fail any of the counselling procedures, such as document verification or late fee payment, will be disqualified.

In the current academic year, Delhi University will conduct the UG admissions on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) marks. DU Cut off 2025

The University of Delhi (DU) will announce the course-wise DU CUET cut-off very soon. The cut-off list will be determined by the candidate’s performance in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). The cut-off list for all 64 DU colleges will be made public. The cut-off grades for various courses and colleges will differ depending on the number of available seats, the difficulty level of the CUET exam, and the candidates’ performance. Cut-off marks for popular courses such as B.A. (Hons.) Economics and B.Com. (Hons.) are likely to be higher than those for less popular courses.

It must be noted that only those students can take part in the DU admission process who submits their counselling registration form. Candidates are required to register for DU admission at the DU CSAS portal.
