Who is Eligible to Apply for RBI Bank Assistant 2026?

To be eligible for the Assistant post, candidates must adhere to the following eligibility criteria:

Educational Qualification

  • Minimum Requirement: A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PwBD candidates) in the aggregate and knowledge of word processing on PC.
  • For Ex-servicemen: An Ex-Servicemen candidate must either hold a graduation degree from a recognised university or have passed the Matriculation (or equivalent) examination conducted by the Armed Forces, along with having rendered a minimum of 15 years of service in the defence forces.
  • Language Proficiency (Must be proficient): Candidates must be proficient in the official language of the State or any of the States falling under that Recruiting Office. Proficiency means the candidate should be able to read, write, speak, and understand the concerned language.
