The online application process is now over, and those who have applied for the post are now eagerly waiting for the exam date and the release of the admit card. As per the official Notification, the Computer-Based Exam (CBE) for SSC Steno 2026 is scheduled to be held in July-August 2026; however, the exact exam dates are yet to be announced.

The exam date for SSC Stenographer 2026 will be announced by SSC on its official website at www.ssc.gov.in. The exam is expected to be held over multiple days in multiple shifts across all exam centres of SSC. This is an online exam and the duration is 2 hours.

SSC Stenographer 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
- Computer-Based Examination (CBE):Â It is conducted to assess the knowledge of the candidates and the total duration is 2 hours. Marks obtained in CBE will be used for final merit making.
