Solutions

S1. Ans.(c)

Sol. Only in Sentence Q there is a subject given, therefore it would be the first sentence and no option other than ‘c’ starting with Q. Hence the correct order is QSRP

S2. Ans.(b)

Sol.  The subject is present in Sentence R which is making it the 1st in the sequence; Sentence S has the verb in it which is telling the activity of that man so it would be the 2nd. Hence the correct order is RSQP.

S3. Ans.(c)

Sol. There are 3 subjects here but the Instruction has been given by the Police commissioner to the police force so Sentence P will be the 1st and Sentence S is the 2nd. Action is performed by police force that is ‘to control’ which would be 3rd and ‘the crowd’ which is Q is the 4th part of sentence. Hence the correct order is PSRQ.

S4. Ans.(d)

Sol. Here the subject is in part P and the verb is used in part R.  Hence the correct order is PRQS.

S5. Ans.(b)

Sol. The subject is present in part Q making it the first part of the sentence. By elimination other options only b is the correct option. Hence the correct order is QSRP.

S6. Ans.(a)

Sol. The subject in this sentence is describing a imaginary case So it is starting with ‘If I were’ making it the 1st part of the sentence. Hence the correct order is QPRS

S7. Ans.(a)

Sol. The subject is the ‘Men of conscience’ which is in part R making it the 1st in the sequence, here sentence is talking about the pride which people takes in their jobs so next sentence would be Q.  Hence the correct order is RQSP.

S8. Ans.(a)

Sol. There is a comparison between people has been discussed, Part R is talking about the people who do not have enough which is continued in part Q making it a Pair RQ. Logically Part P will come before part S making it a pair i.e. PS. Both of the pairs when combined together make option A as the correct sequence. Hence the correct order is PSRQ.

S9. Ans.(d)

Sol. In starting of the sentence the speaker is talking about his opinion of past which is similar to his present opinion so part R will be the 1st in the sequence. If seen logically part S will come after part Q.  Hence the correct order is RPQS

S10. Ans.(c)

Sol. The subject is in part P so it’s the 1st part of the sequence in part P the subject is wondering which describes in part S. Hence the correct order is PSRQ.
