ISRO’s NSIL has entered into an MoU to launch 7 satellites including ‘DS-SAR’ owned by Singapore.

On July 30, 2023, at 6:30 AM IST, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) successfully launched the PSLV-C56 rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The rocket was carrying the DS-SAR satellite, along with six other co-passengers. The PSLV-C56 is configured in its core-alone mode, similar to that of C55. The DS-SAR satellite is a 360-kilogram satellite that was launched into a Near-equatorial Orbit (NEO) at an inclination of 5 degrees and an altitude of 535 kilometers.

The DS-SAR satellite is a joint project between the Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and ST Engineering. Once it is deployed and operational, it will be used to support the satellite imagery requirements of various government agencies in Singapore. ST Engineering will use it to provide multi-modal and more responsive imagery and geospatial services to their commercial customers.

The DS-SAR satellite carries a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) payload developed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI). This payload allows the DS-SAR to provide all-weather, day and night coverage, and to image at a resolution of 1 meter at full polarimetry.

It is a state-of-the-art Earth observation satellite is Operable with all-time state-of-the-art in Synthetic Aperture Radar technology. Capable of taking accurate pictures.

With this satellite 6 small satellites were launched. They are designed by students of higher education institutions in Singapore.

சிங்கப்பூருக்கு சொந்தமான ‘டிஎஸ்-சார்’ உள்பட 7 செயற்கைக்கோள்களை விண்ணில் ஏவுவதற்கு இஸ்ரோவின் என்எஸ்ஐஎல் அமைப்பு புரிந்துணர்வு ஒப்பந்தம் மேற்கொண்டது.

இந்திய விண்வெளி ஆராய்ச்சி நிறுவனம் (ISRO) ஜூலை 30, 2023 அன்று காலை 6:30 மணியளவில், ஸ்ரீஹரிகோட்டாவில் உள்ள சதீஷ் தவான் விண்வெளி மையத்தில் இருந்து PSLV-C56 ராக்கெட்டை வெற்றிகரமாக ஏவியது. ராக்கெட், டிஎஸ்-சார் செயற்கைக்கோள் மற்றும் பிற 6 செயற்கைக்கோள்களை ஏற்றிச் சென்றது. PSLV-C56 என்பது C55 ராக்கெட்டைப் போலவே அதன் கோர்-அலோன் முறையில் கட்டமைக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. டிஎஸ்-சார் செயற்கைக்கோள் 360 கிலோ எடையுள்ளதாகும், இது ஒரு அருகிலுள்ள அயன மண்டல சுற்றுப்பாதையில் (NEO) 5 டிகிரி சாய்வு மற்றும் 535 கிலோமீட்டர் உயரத்தில் ஏவப்பட்டது.

டிஎஸ்-சார் செயற்கைக்கோள் சிங்கப்பூர் பாதுகாப்பு அறிவியல் மற்றும் தொழில்நுட்ப முகமை (DSTA) மற்றும் ST Engineering ஆகியவற்றின் கூட்டு திட்டமாகும். இது செயல்படுத்தப்பட்டு செயல்பாட்டில் இருக்கும்போது, சிங்கப்பூரில் உள்ள பல்வேறு அரசாங்க முகவர் அமைப்புகளின் செயற்கைக்கோள் படத் தேவைகளை ஆதரிப்பதற்குப் பயன்படுத்தப்படும். ST Engineering அதன் வணிக வாடிக்கையாளர்களுக்கு பன்முக மற்றும் அதிக பதிலளிப்பு படங்கள் மற்றும் புவியியல் தகவல் தொழில்நுட்ப சேவைகளை வழங்குவதற்கு அதை பயன்படுத்தும்.

டிஎஸ்-சார் செயற்கைக்கோள் இஸ்ரேல் விண்வெளி தொழில்நுட்பங்கள் (IAI) உருவாக்கிய சிந்தடிக் அப்ரேச்சர் ரேடார் (SAR) சுமைகளைக் கொண்டுள்ளது. இந்த சுமை டிஎஸ்-சார் க்கு அனைத்து வானிலை, பகல் மற்றும் இரவு நேர மூடியை வழங்கவும், முழு துருவவியல் அளவீட்டில் 1 மீட்டர் தீர்மானத்தில் படம் எடுக்கவும் உதவுகிறது.

அதிநவீன புவி கண்காணிப்பு செயற்கைக்கோளான இது, சிந்தடிக் அப்ரேச்சர் ரேடார் தொழில் நுட்பத்தில் அனைத்துக் கால நிலைகளிலும்
இயங்கக்கூடியது.துல்லியமாக படங்களை எடுக்கும்திறன் கொண்டது.

இந்தச் செயற்கைக்கோளுடன் வெலாக்ஸ்-ஏஎம் ஆர்கேட் (24 கி), ஸ்கூப்-2(4 கி), நியூலயன் (3 கி), கலாசியா(3.5 கி), ஆர்ப்-12 ஸ்டிரைடர்(13 கி) ஆகிய 6 சிறிய ரக செயற்கைக்கோள்கள் ஏவப்பட்டன. அவை சிங்கப்பூரின் உயர்கல்வி நிறுவன மாணவர்களால் வடிவமைக்கப்பட்டவை.
