TNPSC Group 2 Notification
Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Combined Civil Services Examination-II (CCSE-II) is the full name of the TNPSC Group 2 test. TNPSC administers the Combined Civil Services Examination-II (CCSE-II) to create a shortlist of applicants for recruitment into the Tamil Nadu civil services. Qualification for TNPSC Group 2
To be eligible for TNPSC Group 2 & 2A, candidates need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the required subject from a recognized Indian University or its equivalent. TNPSC Group 2 Selection Process

TNPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern
The introduction of the Tamil Language Eligibility Test in the preliminary exam led to changes in the exam pattern. The TNPSC Group 2 exam now includes 100 multiple-choice questions to assess Tamil language knowledge, or candidates can choose the General English section instead. The questions are based on SSLC standards. The exam duration is 3 hours, and the pattern for TNPSC Group 2 Preliminary Exam is as follows:
- General Tamil (S.S.L.C. Standard) or General English (S.S.L.C Standard): 100 questions, 300 marks
- General Studies (Degree Standard): 75 questions
- Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (S.S.L.C Standard): 25 questions
- Total: 200 questions, 300 marks

TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Posts and Salary
There are both Interview and Non-Interview posts in TNPSC Group 2 and 2A Recruitment. The selected candidates will be paid a TNPSC Group 2 Salary of Rs. 36,900-1, 17,600/- per month. It includes all the allowances and the basic pay.
