TNPSC Group 6 Qualification: The candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Forestry or its equivalent degree from any University recognized by UGC. OR,
Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent degree from any recognized University in any one of the following subjects:-

4. Chemistry
5. Computer Applications/Computer Science
6. Engineering (All Engineering subjects

TNPSC Group 6 Exam Pattern
TNPSC Group 6 Exam Pattern: The TNPSC Group 6 Exam consists of 3 papers. Further details of the three papers is given here.
- For Part A of Paper 1, the minimum marks to be secured for qualifying the paper is 40% of 15 which is 60 marks.
- Part A marks will not be taken into account for the ranking.
- The answer sheets of Paper 1 (Part B), Paper 2 & 3 will only be checked if the candidates secure the minimum marks in Part A.
- For Papers 2 and 3, Candidates may choose any two optional subjects from the given subjects to the condition that the applicant shall not be allowed to take more than one subject in the same group. (The list of subjects is given in the official notification).

TNPSC Group 3 Physical Test (Walking Test): The candidates are required to appear for the Physical test after passing the written test and attendance is compulsory. Those who qualify this test will be called for the Oral test/interview.

TNPSC Group 6 Hall Ticket: The TNPSC Group 6 Hall ticket will be released a few days before the exam. The TNPSC Group 6 Exam date and admit card will notified soon. TNPSC Group 6 Salary: The TNPSC has mentioned the TNPSC Group 6 Pay scale for the Forest Apprentice post. The selected candidates will get a remuneration of Rs. 37,700 -1,38,500/- per month. This includes the basic pay and the allowances as sanctioned by the Tamil Nadu Government.
