The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) began the CLAT Registration window 2026 for the Law entrance exam from August 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025. To apply for CLAT 2026, visit the official website at consortiumofnlus.ac.in before the registration deadline. CLAT 2026 registration fees are Rs. 4,000 for the general category and Rs. 3,500 for SC/ST applicants. The Consortium will subsequently launch the CLAT Application Correction Window.

How to fill CLAT Application Form 2026?

The CLAT 2026 application form is now open through the official CLAT 2026 website is www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in/clat-2026. First-time applicants may encounter difficulty in completing the CLAT application. Follow the step-by-step method outlined below to fill out the CLAT 2026 Application Form in hassle-free way:

Step 1: CLAT Online Registration

  • Visit the official website and click on the registration link: consortiumofnlus.ac.in.
  • You will be redirected to the registration window.
    Click the “Register” button.
  • A registration form will appear, prompting you to enter registration information such as your name, mobile phone number, and email address. Additionally, select and confirm a password for the candidate account.

Step 2: Fill Out CLAT Application Form 2026

  • To process the application form, candidates must log in to their account using their phone number and password.
  • Candidates must choose between a 5-year Undergraduate (UG) LLB Course and a 1-year Postgraduate (PG) LLM Course. Then, select the “Apply for CLAT 2026” button.
  • Personal details and documentation: Now, Candidates must provide a photograph and their signature in jpeg/png format. Other information required includes the year of birth, the mother and father’s names, gender, nationality, and other details asked
  • Enter Communication Details: Candidates must fill out the following section with their current and permanent addresses.
  • Education Details: Candidates must select the qualifying test from the drop-down box, enter the name of the board (or university), whether they appeared/appeared or passed, the year and month of passing, and the percentage.
  • Enter Exam Centre Preferences –Now, they must select three exam centres for the CLAT 2026 exam. Select Test Centre Preference – 1 for the test centre of your first choice. Use Test Centre Preference 3 to indicate the least favoured exam centre.

After giving all of the information, candidates must verify that the various sections of the CLAT application form are filled out completely and correctly. Once you’re satisfied, submit the form.

Step 3: Pay CLAT Form Fee

After submitting the application form, the candidate must pay the application or exam fee, which is category-specific. Candidates can pay the application cost online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking. The CLAT Exam fees for each category are listed below.

  • General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI: 4,000
  • SC/ST/BPL: 3,500
