According to the most recent information, the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) will hold the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT 2024) on December 3, 2023. The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has just modified the CLAT Exam Pattern 2024 for the Common Law Admission Test. The number of questions in the CLAT UG examination 2024 has been lowered in accordance with the revised CLAT Exam Pattern 2024.The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) in 2024 will feature just 120 questions, as opposed to 150 in previous years. The 120 questions will be divided into five categories: English Language, Current Affairs with General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The syllabus and quantity of questions for the postgraduate CLAT 2024 will remain unchanged.

CLAT Exam Pattern 2024 Revised Official Notification
The Consortium of National Law Universities has released an official notification about the Revised CLAT Exam Pattern 2024 and syllabus. This decision was made by the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) during its meeting on May 20, 2023, according to a press release dated June 15.
“As part of its ongoing efforts to make the Common Law Admission Test (“CLAT”) a more student-friendly and accessible examination, the Governing Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities resolved the following at its meeting held on May 20, 2023,” according to the NLU consortium.

According to the Revised CLAT Exam Pattern 2024, the number of questions has been lowered for the CLAT UG exam 2024 which will take place on 3rd December 2023. The Consortium of National Law Universities, comprised of representative universities, organizes the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), a national-level entrance exam. for admission to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law studies provided by India’s 22 National Law Universities.

- The Undergraduate (“UG”) CLAT 2024, for admissions to Undergraduate courses beginning in the Academic Year 2024-2025 at participating National Law Universities, will consist of 120 questions rather than 150 questions as in prior years.
