The Consortium of National Law University is all set to declare the first merit list of the CLAT 2022 today. The Counseling Process is underway and now the CLAT 2022 1st Merit List will be released today, Thursday, 30th June 2022. Candidates should note that a total of five merit lists will be declared and this is the first amongst them. The Candidates should note that the CLAT 2022 1st Merit List will be available online, on the official website, www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Time when the CLAT 2022 1st Merit List will be released is not officially declared but it is expected to be out soon.

CLAT 2022 First Merit List 

The CLAT 2022 First Merit List will be released today, 30th June 2022 Wednesday on the official website, www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in. There will be a total of five Merit List which will be released following the Counseling. The Counseling Date was 27th June 2022. The Second Merit List will be released on 7th July 2022. Once the CLAT 2022 First Merit List will be released, three options will be provided to the qualified students. If the candidate is satisfied with the seat he has been allotted he can lock the seat and thus he will be allotted that particular seat in the college in case the candidate is not satisfied with the seat allotted to him on the basis of the CLAT First Merit List then he can opt for an upgrade.

If the candidate opts for an Upgrade, he has to pay an additional fee and upload certain documents. The third option which can be availed by the Candidate is that he/she can exit from the process and they will not be eligible to participate in further process.

The Merit List is important because it is only on the basis of the ranks secured in the Merit List that seats will be allotted to the Candidates in various Law Universities across the nation, a list of important dates of release of the Merit List is given below:

How to Check the CLAT 2022 First Merit List?

Students who have appeared for the CLAT 2022 Exams can check the CLAT 2022 First Merit List by following the steps given below. Students can check the CLAT First Merit List, once it is declared by following these steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Consortium of National Law University, www.consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 

Step 2: Once you visit the official website you will be asked to enter certain credentials such as mobile number, password, etc to log in. It is important to enter the login credentials so as to check the merit list. 

Step 3: After you have entered the Login Credentials, you will be advanced to the homepage of the National Consortium of National Law University, where you can click on the Provisional Merit List Option.

Step 4: Once you click on the Provisional Merit List Option the CLAT 2022 1st Merit List will be displayed on your device screen. Candidates can then check their names in the CLAT 2022 1st Merit List and then continue the admission process by accepting their seats.
