The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is currently underway with its 4th phase of Computer-Based Test for SSC GD Constable 2026. The exam will continue till 30th May 2026, and admit cards are now available on the official website. How to Download SSC GD Admit Card 2026

Follow the step-by-step guide below to download the SSC GD call letter:

1. Go to the official SSC website: www.ssc.gov.in
2. Click on the “Login” button located at the top-right corner of the homepage.
3. You will be redirected to the candidate login portal.
4. Enter your Registration Number (Username) and Password, then fill in the Captcha code.
5. Click on “Submit” to log in.
6. Look for the “SSC GD Admission Certificate” link on your dashboard and click on it.
7. Your SSC GD Admit Card 2026 PDF will open on the screen.
8. Download and print a clear copy on A4 size paper for use at the exam centre.

The SSC GD Phase 4 Admit Card is being released 2 days before each exam date. The admit card release schedule is provided below:

Exam Shift and Reporting Timing 2026

The shift-wise exam timings are provided in the table below. Candidates are advised to report to the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. The duration of each shift will be 1 hour.

SSC GD CBT Exam Pattern 2026

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will contain 80 questions carrying a total of 160 marks, with 2 marks awarded for each correct answer. A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong response. Candidates will have 60 minutes to complete the exam, and the test will automatically end once the allotted time is finished.

Exam Centre Rules and Guidelines

Candidates appearing for the SSC GD Constable Computer-Based Exam must strictly adhere to all instructions issued by the Staff Selection Commission.

• Entry after the reporting time will not be permitted, so candidates should reach the centre at least 30 minutes early.
• Carry all required documents without fail.
• Electronic devices such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth gadgets, calculators, pen drives, notes, or any written material are strictly banned.
• Sit only at the allotted seat and carefully read all instructions displayed on the computer screen before beginning the test.
• Use only the mouse to mark responses.
• Biometric verification, including fingerprint and photograph capture, will be conducted at the exam centre.
• Ensure fingers are clean and free from ink, henna (mehndi), or any coating to avoid issues during verification.

• Wear simple, plain clothes (T-shirt/shirt with trousers/salwar)
• Use slippers or flat sandals
• Avoid jackets, caps, scarves, and belts
• Do not wear a watch, jewellery, or hair accessories
• Avoid shoes with thick soles or metal parts
• Dress lightly for quick frisking and entry
