The Staff Selection Commission is accepting applications for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL), Exam 2026 on its official website at www.ssc.gov.in. Candidates who are within the age limit of 18 to 32 years and possess a Bachelor’s degree can now apply and submit their application form.

The SSC CGL Apply Online 2026 window is open from 21st May to 22nd June 2026 (11 PM). So, candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible to avoid any issues later.

The Commission has released 12,256 vacancies for SSC CGL 2026 Group B and C posts. Interested candidates can now register, upload documents, and submit the application form by paying a fee of Rs. 100. Those who successfully apply before the deadline, will be eligible to appear for Tier 1 Exam scheduled for August-September 2026.

Who can apply for SSC CGL 2026?

SSC CGL One Time Registration (OTR)

SSC CGL OTR and Aadhaar based verification is mandatory before applying online. Here, are the simple steps that you can follow:

1. Visit ssc.gov.in.
2. Click “Login/Register” and complete the OTR form (basic personal and academic details).
3. After submitting, you’ll receive a Registration ID and Password

Simple Steps to Fill Up SSC CGL Application Form

1. Go to SSC website.
2. Log in using your OTR credentials.
3. Fill in all required fields: education, job preferences, personal info.
4. Upload scanned photograph and signature as per and

6. Choose up to 3 preferred exam centres by region
7. Pay ₹100 (Women, SC/ST, Ex‑Servicemen, PwD candidates are exempt)

Prerequisites for SSC CGL Online Application Form

Important things that you should keep with you while filling out the Application Form:

• Scanned copy of Signature ( 1kb – 12 kb ) in JPG format.
• Scanned copy of Photo ( 4 kb – 20kb ) in JPG format.
• A valid email ID.
• A valid Identity Proof (Aadhaar preferred)

Important Instructions related to Live Photo and Signature

Live Photograph

• The photograph must be clicked in front of a white colour or light-coloured background. Avoid wearing a mask, hat, or eyewear when taking the picture.

Signature

• The signature must be in black or blue ink on a white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature must be in jpg format and it should be between 1 kb to 12 kb. The resolution should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

SSC CGL Application Fee 2026

The required Application Fee is Rs 100/-  and it can be paid through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card.

Exemption: No fee is to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Application Form Correction Window

Candidates who have submitted their application can make corrections from 29th June 2026 to 1st July 2026 (up to 23:00 hrs). Each candidate is allowed to re-submit a corrected application a maximum of two times during this window. Only those candidates who have completed payment of application fee within the deadline are eligible to use this facility.
