Important Notice About Rejected OMR Sheets

The Haryana Public Service Commission announced that for the HCS Preliminary Exam 2025 held on April 26, 2026, the marks and final answer key were posted online on May 2, 2026. However, a total of 2,199 OMR sheets for General Studies (Paper-I) and 3,189 OMR sheets for CSAT (Paper-II) have been rejected and not considered for preparing the result. All rejected OMR sheets are now displayed on the Commission’s website, so candidates should check whether their sheet was rejected.

• Problem: Some OMR sheets were rejected (not counted):

  • Paper I (General Studies): 2,199 sheets rejected.
  • Paper II (CSAT): 3,189 sheets rejected.

If your score meets the category-wise cut-off, you must shift your focus to the descriptive-style Mains exam.  The mains examination is scheduled to be conducted on 27 June, 28 June, & 29 June 2026. This preparation involves practising long-form answer writing for six papers, including English, Hindi, and General Studies, as the Prelims marks are only for screening and will not be added to your final rank.
