PUMDET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Those who intend to take the PUMDET examination in the future must first check the PUMDET eligibility criteria before filling out the PUMDET application form. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

Candidates must be Indian citizens.
The PUMDET Examination has no upper or lower age limit.
Participants must have passed or appeared in a qualifying B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc (Hons.) examination. PUMDET education qualifications are discussed in detail below.
- Candidates who have appeared for their final Hons examination but whose final results have not been declared at the time of counseling will be granted provisional admission on the basis of the production of their prior mark sheets or grade cards from all previous semesters or annual examinations at their Bachelor’s level. Candidates must, however, submit their final grade sheet by August 31, 2023, to ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria, or their admission will be revoked.
- For final and confirmed admission, students must obtain the minimum required percentage of marks or CGPA in honors or their major subjects as shown in the table below in their Hons examination.
- Candidates must have passed (not before 2019) or be scheduled to take the BA (Hons) examination in 2023 from a recognized university and
- Candidates Have taken the BA (Hons) exam and should have their final results at the time of counseling, as well as original mark sheets/grade cards for all semester/annual exams passed at the Bachelor’s level.

PUMDET 2023 Application Form

Applicants who are interested in pursuing their 2-year M.A. and M.Sc. programs at Presidency University, Kolkata in Open Quota seats should fill out the PUMDET application form online. However, the PUMDET 2023 application form-filling process ended on February 21, 2023.

First and foremost, applicants must visit the WBJEEB or Presidency University’s official website.
The registration link will be provided in the notifications, and applicants must click on it to submit their registration information.
Using the registration information, applicants can fill out the application form with all of the necessary information.
Following that, applicants must upload their scanned required documents, such as a thumb impression, signature, and photographs, as well as any other relevant documents.
Candidates have to make the payment of the PUMDET Application form online mode and should take print copies for future use.

PUMDET 2023 Admit Card

The WBJEE PUMDET 2023 Admit Card will be dispersed to aspirants who have successfully uploaded their PUMDET application form in the second week of June 2023 (Tentative). They can obtain the PUMDET admit card 2023, which is a required document that all candidates must bring to the examination center on exam day. Applicants can download the WBJEE PUMDET admit card by entering their Application ID, password, or DOB in the required fields.

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board is going to hold the counseling session for applicants to Presidency University’s master’s programme. WBJEE PUMDET Counselling will take place at – West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board Office AQ-13/1, Sector V, Salt Lake, Kolkata – 700 091, Technopolis Building, 215A Bus Station. Following the announcement of the PUMDET results, a counseling session will be held, and qualified candidates in this examination will be contacted.
