JEE Mains Response Sheet Normalization Process

The JEE Main exam’s difficulty level may change because it will be administered across several sessions. Authorities will use a normalization approach to address this. Normalized JEE Main 2024 scores, which show the proportion of applicants with scores that are on par with or lower than the top scorer in a given session, will be made public by NTA. The following formula is used to determine NTA scores:s:

Formula – (100 x number of candidates with a raw score equal to or less than the candidate) / total number of candidates in that session

How To Challenge JEE Mains Response Sheet 2024?

Using their individual logins, candidates can use their JEE Main Response Sheet 2024 to dispute it online. In order to contest the response sheet, applicants must register on the official website and use a credit/debit card, Net banking, UPI, or PAYTM service to pay a non-refundable processing charge of INR 200 per question. The cost will be reimbursed if the challenge is accepted by NTA. The steps are as follows:

1. Log in with Application Number and Date of Birth/Password.
2. At the Candidates’ Login Screen, choose “Challenge Answer Key” or “Challenge Recorded Response.”
3. For Recorded Response, select Question Number, Recorded Answer, and Claimed Answer, then add to the claims list.
4. For Response sheet, enter book number, question number, answer, and claimed answer, then add to the claims list.
5. Make the payment using Debit/Credit/Net banking.
