JEE Advanced 2024 Registration

The JEE Advanced 2024 registration process is underway for the foreign candidates holding POI/OCI cards. The JEE Advanced registration 2024 will begin on April 27 for candidates who want to apply after qualifying the JEE Mains exam. Candidates will be able to apply for the JEE Advanced exam 2024 online through the official website. Only those candidates who will clear the required cut off for the JEE Mains exam will be able to apply for the JEE Advanced.

JEE Advanced 2024 Registration Overview

The JEE Advanced 2024 exam is being administered by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras. While the JEE Mains exam is conducted twice every year, the JEE Advanced exam is only conducted once. The JEE Advanced exam consists of two papers that is held on a single day. JEE Advanced 2024 Registration Last Date

The last date for the registration of the JEE Advanced 2024 exam is May 7, 2024 for Indian candidates. The candidate will be able to register and fill out the JEE Advanced application form up to 5 PM on May 7. That is, the JEE Advanced application form 2024 link will remain active from 5 PM on April 27 to 5 PM on May 7. Candidates will be able to pay the application fees up to 5 PM on May 10. 

JEE Advanced 2024 Application Form Last Date for Foreign Nationals

The last date to fill out the application form for the JEE Advanced 2024 exam for foreign nationals is also May 7, 2024, just like the Indian candidates. The last date and time to pay the online application fees is May 10, 2024 (Friday) up to 5 PM. JEE Advanced Application Fees 2024

Candidates who want to submit their application form for the JEE Advanced exam will have to pay the application fees online. Candidates can also pay the application fee through SBI Branch in offline mode. The application fees for the JEE Advanced exam 2024 is different for candidates belonging from different categories.

The process to pay the JE Advanced 2024 application fees through offline mode is given below.

• Candidates must click “Pay Registration Fee” in order to pay the JEE Advanced application fee with cash via the SBI Branch Option. The system will then immediately reroute them to the State Bank of India Multi Option Payment System (MOPS) page.
• When making a cash payment, the candidate must choose “SBI Branch,” after which the system will produce an electronic Challan. To make a cash payment, candidates must print the e-challan that the system created and bring it to the SBI branch.
• Candidates must download the “Registration Details” with a unique registration number from this homepage after making a payment.

JEE Advanced 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Aspiring IIT students must take JEE Advanced, which is the second step exam after JEE Main. Recall, the opportunity to face JEE Advanced is limited to the top 2.5 lakh achievers in JEE Main. Class 12 Marks Requirements

To be eligible for admission to IITs through JEE Advanced, candidates must receive 75% of the total exam marks in class 12 or be in the top 20% candidates of their respective Class 12 board exam.

JEE Main performance

The applicant must rank in the top 2,50,000 (all categories combined) of the JEE Main 2024 B.E./B.Tech. exam. There may be a little over 2,500 applicants overall if there are “tied” positions or scores in any area. The number oc candidates eligible from different categories is tabulated below.

Attempt Limit

The maximum number of times a candidate may attempt JEE (Advanced) is twice, and only in consecutive years. Consequently, the candidate’s first or second consecutive attempt at JEE Advanced 2024 will be considered.

Class 12 Exam Year

The candidate must have sit for the Class XII (or equivalent) exam for the first time in either 2023 or 2024 as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. The candidates of that board who took the class XII exam in 2022 are also eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2024, provided they meet the other eligibility requirements, if the examination board of Class XII (or equivalent) announces the results for the academic year 2021–22 on or after September 21, 2022.

The candidate will not be able to appear in JEE Advanced 2024 if the examination board of Class XII (or equivalent) announced the results for the academic year 2021–22 before September 21, 2022, but the result of a specific candidate was withheld.

Age Requirement

Applicants must be born on October 1, 1999, or later. Candidates who fall within the SC, ST, or PwD categories and who were born on or after October 1, 1994, are eligible for a five-year relaxation.

Admission to IITs previously

The candidate should not have been admitted (regardless of whether they proceeded with the program) or even accepted admission by paying the admission fee at any IIT previously; applicants whose admission was revoked are ineligible. Nonetheless, applicants may sit for JEE Advanced 2024 if they were accepted into a preparation program at any of the IITs in 2023.

Eligible candidates for JEE Advanced 2024 are those who paid the seat acceptance fee in 2023 but (i) did not report to any reporting center OR (ii) withdrew before the final round of seat allocation OR (iii) had their seat cancelled (for any reason) before the final round of seat allocation for IITs during the joint seat allocation in 2023.

JEE Advanced 2024 AAT Application Form

Only IIT (BHU) Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee offer the BArch program. In order to be admitted to the BArch (Architecture) program, candidates must be able to pass the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT). To appear in the AAT in 2024, a candidate must have qualified in JEE (Advanced) 2024. All the respective IITs will conduct the AAT sessions. For AAT, no separate admit card will be provided.

In the AAT examination hall, the downloadable JEE (Advanced) 2024 admit card and the original picture identity card must be produced. For the AAT, candidates need to register online using the JEE (Advanced) 2024 online portal. One three-hour paper written entirely in English will make up the test. Applicants must provide their own coloring books and art supplies. The JEE (Advanced) 2024 web portal will announce the AAT results.
