The Indian Institute of Management, Indore, offered students a salary package of Rs 1.14 crore for a domestic job during the final placement session. The final placement at the Indian Institute of Management-Indore is complete, and 12 students have been granted an annual pay sum of Rs 1.14 crore for a domestic job. According to an IIM-Indore official, this is the biggest salary package awarded during this session’s final placement, representing a 132.6 percent increase over the previous year.

At this session’s final placement, 568 IIM-I students were offered jobs by more than 160 local and international businesses, with an average pay of Rs. 30.21 lacks. An annual compensation of Rs. 1.14 crore has been granted to 12 students for a domestic job. Two-year Post Graduate Program (PGP) and five-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM) students received offers. IIM-I Director Himanshu Rai said IIM Indore has always wanted to strengthen its relationship with the industry by providing world-class management training. Most job openings come from consulting, followed by general management and operations, finance, marketing, and information technology (IT).

According to a press release from IIM-I, more than 160 recruiters from around the world took part in the IIM Indoor placements drive. Accenture, Adani Group, Amazon, Ambit Capital, Bain & Co., Citi Group, Deloitte, PwC, Deutsche Bank,o3 Capital, EY, Goldman Sachs, American Express, HUL, IndigoEdge, ITC, Kearney, KPMG, Bira 91, BlackRock, CavinKare, CITI Bank, DCM Shriram, Delhivery, McKinsey & Co.,  and Reliance are significant employers at IIM Indore.

IIM Indore Placements 2023 Sector wise

This year, the institute established relationships with over 80 new employers. According to IIM-I,  During the final placement, the biggest number of job offers, 29 % , came from the sector of consultancy, followed by general management and operations at 19 %, marketing and finance at 18 % each, and information technology (IT) at 16%. More than three-quarters of the offers were made in the consulting, banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) and technology, media, and telecommunications (TMT) sectors, where there was the most involvement.

Twelve students from the 2021-23 MBA batch of IIM-I have been offered domestic jobs during campus placement.  with an impressive annual package of Rs 1.14 crore. This year’s top-paying packages are 132% higher than last year’s. A total of 568 students from the Graduate Program (PGP) and the Integrated Management Program (IPM) participated in the final campaign, with a placement rate of 100%.
Many companies provided 568 students with an average salary of Rs 30.21 crore, an increase of 20.8% over the previous year, and the average remuneration was Rs 27.20 crore per year, an increase of 12.9% over the previous year. Students from the 5-year Graduate Program (PGP) and the Integrated Management Program (IPM) participated in the internship.
