The CUET total marks for the five subjects has become consistent for every stream after the new exam rule. The Common University Entrance Test (CUETUG) is an undergraduate entrance exam offered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CUET is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate courses at India’s over 280 participating universities/colleges. The CUET 2025 exam was held in computer-based testing (CBT) between May 13 and June 3 and the CUET results are out on July 4.

CUET Total Marks for 5 Subjects

As per the CUET exam structure, candidates may choose five from 37 available subjects, which include 13 languages, 23 domains, and 1 general aptitude test. In simple terms, if an applicant chooses one language paper along with four domain subjects, their total CUET marks for the five subjects will be 1250. Alternatively, if someone selects one language paper, three domain papers, and one general test, their total marks for the CUET exam across five subjects would still be 1250.

CUET UG Total Marks: Marking Scheme

CUET UG provides a flexible and student-friendly marking scheme where students can choose up to five subjects for the exam. The maximum score for the CUET UG 2025 exam for each topic is 250, where a total of 50 questions are asked, and each question is worth 5 marks. However, whether you are a science, commerce, or arts/ humanities student, your CUET UG total marks are entirely dependent on the number of subjects you choose while filling out the CUET application form.
