SBI CBO Educational Qualification
Candidates with a graduation degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), and those with qualifications in Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy are eligible.

A minimum of 2 years of experience as an officer is required as of 31.10.2023 to apply for the SBI CBO Recruitment 2024.

SBI CBO Selection Process 2024
The selection process for the SBI CBO includes the following stages:
- Online Test: An online test of 100 marks will be conducted for 2 hours which will include topics on the English Language, Banking Knowledge, General Awareness, and Computer Aptitude.
- Screening Test: Candidates who will qualify for the SBI CBO Online Test will be called for the Online Screening Test which will be descriptive and will be conducted for 30 mins.
- Interview:Â The final stage of selection is the Interview stage, after which the final merit list will be released.
SBI CBO Exam Pattern 2024
The SBI CBO Exam covers two sections: Objective and Descriptive as shown below.
- Test A (Objective) is 120 Marks and the duration is 2 Hours (120 minutes).
- The Test B (Descriptive) is of 50 Marks and the duration is 30 minutes.
- There is no negative marking.

SBI CBO Salary 2024
A “Circle Based Officer” (CBO) will commence their career with an initial salary set within the JMGS-I pay scale, which ranges from Rs. 36,000 to Rs. 46,430 with annual increments of Rs. 1,490 for the first seven years, followed by a scale from Rs. 46,430 to Rs. 49,910 with increments of Rs. 1,740 for the next two years, and finally, a scale from Rs. 49,910 to Rs. 63,840 with increments of Rs. 1,990 for the subsequent seven years. Additionally, they will receive one increment for each year of service completed in the officer cadre within a Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank.
