The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission is going to conduct the TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 for Group 1 and Group 1-B and 1-C services for various posts. The TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination (Group 1B and IC Services) (Advt. No. 05/2024) will be conducted on 12th July 2024 and the TNPSC Combined Civil Services Examination-I (Group I Services) (Advt. No. 04/2024) will be held on 13th July 2024. Tamil Nadu PSC Group 1 Exam Date 2024

The TNPSC Group 1 Exam 2024 is conducted to recruit eligible candidates for the Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Category-1), Assistant Commissioner(Commercial Taxes), and Group 1-B and Group 1-C services for which the total number of vacancies announced is 90 and 29 respectively by the official. The application process for Group 1B and 1C services is still open, so, if you want to apply for TNPSC Group 1 (Advt. No. 05/2024), then you can do so @tnpsc.gov.in.

For posts of Assistant Commissioner and District Educational Officer under Group 1B and 1C, the exam will be held on 12th July 2024.

The examination format for both Prelims and Mains is outlined as follows. The examination will be conducted in both English and Tamil languages.

The exam is objective-based.
The time duration to complete the exam is 3 hours.
The total number of marks in the exam will be 300.
For every correct answer 1.5 marks.
There will be no negative marks.
