The online application process for the General Recruitment for the post of Deputy Educational Officers/Gazetted Head Master Grade- I in school educational department has started under Notification No. 03/G/SE/2026. TGPSC DEO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the TGPSC Deputy Education Officer Notification 2026 posts must fulfil the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification.

Nationality

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess the required educational qualification on or before 05 June 2026.
• Applicants whose results are awaited or who are still pursuing the qualification are not eligible to apply.
• Degrees obtained through Distance Education must be recognized by the UGC, AICTE, or Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

Local Candidate Status

• The recruitment will follow Telangana’s local reservation policy.
• 95% of the vacancies are reserved for local candidates of the respective Multi-Zones.
• Local candidature will be determined based on the study/residence criteria prescribed by the Telangana Government for Multi-Zone I and Multi-Zone II.

Age Limits and Multi-Zonal Relaxations

Age boundaries are computed as per the latest Telangana state personnel regulations:

• General Age Bracket: The expected minimum age is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 44 years.
• Category-Wise Age Relaxations: Telangana State Government Employees: Up to 5 Years (based on service duration).
• SC / ST / BCs & EWS Candidates: 5 Years relaxation in the upper age ceiling.
• Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates: Up to 10 Years of extensive relaxation.

Candidates are required to pay the prescribed processing fee and examination fee while submitting the online application form.

Note:Unemployed candidates are exempted from payment of the ₹120 examination fee. However, all applicants must pay the applicable processing fee, which is non-refundable under any circumstances.
