If two or more candidates secure the same marks in the written examination, the Commission will prepare the merit list using the following tie-breaking criteria:

• Candidates with higher percentage marks in the GNM or B.Sc. Nursing qualification will be ranked higher.
• If the nursing qualification marks are also identical, the older candidate will be given preference.
• If both candidates have the same date of birth, the candidate securing higher marks in the Class 12 (+2) examination will be placed higher.
• If the tie still remains unresolved, the Commission reserves the right to adopt any other suitable method to determine the final merit order.
