The Telangana Public Service Commission (TGPSC) will conduct the recruitment process for 113 Deputy Education Officer (DEO) posts in the School Education Department.  These posts offer an excellent opportunity for candidates aspiring to serve in the administration of Telangana’s education system.

TGPSC DEO 2026 Vacancy Details

A total of 113 Deputy Education Officer (DEO) vacancies have been announced across two Multi-Zones.

TGPSC DEO Eligibility Criteria 2026

Candidates applying for the TGPSC Deputy Education Officer Notification 2026 posts must fulfill the eligibility conditions prescribed in the notification.

Nationality

• The applicant must be an Indian citizen.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must possess the required educational qualification on or before 05 June 2026.
• Applicants whose results are awaited or who are still pursuing the qualification are not eligible to apply.
• Degrees obtained through Distance Education must be recognized by the UGC, AICTE, or Distance Education Bureau (DEB).

Local Candidate Status

• The recruitment will follow Telangana’s local reservation policy.
• 95% of the vacancies are reserved for local candidates of the respective Multi-Zones.
• Local candidature will be determined based on the study/residence criteria prescribed by the Telangana Government for Multi-Zone I and Multi-Zone II.

TGPSC DEO Application Fee 2026

Candidates are required to pay the prescribed processing fee and examination fee while submitting the online application form.

Note:Unemployed candidates are exempted from payment of the ₹120 examination fee. However, all applicants must pay the applicable processing fee, which is non-refundable under any circumstances.

• Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered.
• Log in using your TGPSC ID and Date of Birth.
• Click on the Dy.EO Recruitment 2026 application link.
• Verify and fill in the required details.
• Select your preferred examination centre.
• Upload the required photograph and signature.
• Pay the prescribed application fee through online mode.
• Preview the application form carefully.
• Click on “Confirm & Submit” to complete the application process.
• Download and save the submitted application form for future reference.

TGPSC DEO Selection Process 2026

The selection of candidates for the Deputy Education Officer (DEO) posts will be carried out based on their performance in the recruitment process prescribed by TGPSC.

The selection process includes the following stages:

• Written Examination
• Preparation of Merit List
• Document Verification

Candidates who secure the minimum qualifying marks and rank high in the merit list will be called for document verification. The final selection will be made based on the marks obtained in the written examination, reservation rules, and verification of eligibility documents.

TGPSC DEO Exam Pattern 2026

The TGPSC Deputy Education Officer (DEO) Examination 2026 will be conducted in Objective Type mode. The question paper will be available in English and Telugu.
