RRB NTPC UG CBT 1 Result 2026: What After Result?
Candidates who have been shortlisted in the Undergraduate CBT 1 Result will now appear for the 2nd Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT 2). According to the official notice, the CBT 2 examination is tentatively scheduled for 17th September 2026.
Candidates will receive information regarding the CBT 2 Exam City Intimation Slip through the official RRB websites, SMS, and email. The e-call letter will be available for download four days before the examination date.
Is there Normalisation in RRB NTPC UG Exam?

Stage 1: CBT 1: Candidates are shortlisted in the ratio of 1:20 times the vacancies of each category.
Stage 2: CBT 2: This is the merit-deciding round; the final selection is based on the CBT 2 merit list.
Stage 3: CBAT / Typing Skill Test: Required only for specific posts (for example, CBAT for Station Master/Traffic Assistant roles; Typing Skill Test for Clerk-based posts).
Stage 4: Document Verification & Medical Examination: Final stage before appointment; based on performance in CBT 2 (and CBAT/Typing Test, where applicable).
CBT 2 Exam Pattern
The NTPC UG CBT 2 Exam is conducted in online mode and it has 120 questions worth 1 mark each also, there is a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer.
