The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 through CEN 09/2025. A total of 22,195 vacancies have been announced for various Level-1 posts in different departments of Indian Railways across 16 railway zones.
Selected candidates will be entitled to pay and allowances as per the 7th Pay Commission. The schedule for the RRB Group D Exam 2026 is yet to be announced. Applicants should keep visiting the official websites of their respective regional RRBs to stay updated.
RRB Group D Exam Date 2026
The selection process for RRB Group D 2026 is conducted in multiple stages. Candidates must first qualify in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Based on their CBT performance, shortlisted candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST), which are the next stages of the recruitment process.
Only those candidates whose application forms have been accepted will be eligible to take the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Once the examination schedule is released, applicants will be able to access details such as the exam date, shift timing, reporting schedule, allotted exam city, and important instructions that must be followed at the examination centre.
RRB Group D City Intimation and Admit Card 2026
RRB generally releases the Exam City Intimation Slip around 10 days before the exam, which helps candidates know their exam city, date, and shift details. The admit card is usually issued 4 days before the exam.
It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam centre, as entry is not allowed without it. Candidates can download it from the official RRB website using their registration number and password.
