BPSC 72nd CCE Exam 2026 Out

As per the revised notice, the BPSC CCE Prelims Written Examination will be conducted on 25 October 2026 in multiple exam centres across the state. What is the Exam Pattern?

The BPSC 72nd CCE Exam 2026 is conducted in three stages: Prelims, Mains, and Interview. The Prelims is an objective-type screening test, while the Mains and Interview determine the final merit. The detailed exam pattern is given below.

BPSC 72nd CCE Exam Pattern (Prelims)

The BPSC Prelims is an objective-type examination consisting of 150 questions for 150 marks. Candidates get 2 hours to complete the paper. Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each incorrect answer

BPSC 72nd CCE Exam: Exam Pattern (Mains)

The BPSC Mains consists of General Hindi, two General Studies papers, and one optional subject. General Hindi is qualifying in nature, while the remaining papers contribute to the merit score.

Compulsory Papers

• Candidates must secure at least 30% marks in General Hindi.
• General Hindi marks are not counted for the final merit list.
