A total of 2050 vacancies will be filled for the posts of Circle Based Officers (CBO) in Junior Management Grade Scale-I. SBI Circle-Based Officer Eligibility Criteria 2026
The SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria include key requirements related to educational qualification, age limit, work experience, nationality, and local language proficiency. Candidates who meet all these conditions are eligible to apply for the SBI Circle-Based Officer post.
Education Qualification Required
The educational qualification required for SBI CBO is a Graduation degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government, including Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), and those with qualifications in Medical, Engineering, Chartered Accountancy, and Cost Accountancy are eligible.
SBI CBO Age Limit (As On 31/12/2025)

Experience Required for Circle-Based Officer post
A minimum of 2 years of experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in the Second Schedule of the Reserve Bank of India.
Local Language Test
Candidates must know the state language in which they are applying. The Local language proficiency test will be conducted as part of the selection process but if any candidate can show their 10th/12th marksheet evidencing having studied the opted language, then they need to appear for the LPT.
