Applicants should meet the prescribed age limit and educational qualifications as mentioned in the official notification before applying for the MPPCB Recruitment.

Education Qualification

• Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering AND
• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised University

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 21 Years
• Maximum Age: 40 Years
• Age Relaxation: up to 45 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/Women/Ex-Servicemen/PwD (MP domicile) as per MP Govt. rules

MPPCB AE Selection Process 2026

The MPPCB AE Selection Process involves the following stages:

Computer-Based Test (CBT): The CBT will be conducted through MP Online. Candidates up to 3 times the number of category-wise vacancies will be shortlisted for the next stage. CBT marks will remain confidential.

Interview: Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview conducted by MPPCB through a 3-member panel consisting of a Chairperson and two subject experts. Interview marks will be shared confidentially with MP Online.

Document Verification & Final Merit List: The final merit list will be prepared based on 80% weightage of CBT and 20% weightage of the interview. Candidates will be called for document verification as per merit rank. In case of tie, higher age and then higher High School marks will be considered. The merit list will remain valid for 1 year.
