  • Medical applications: Due to its biocompatible nature (meaning it doesn’t harm the body), PHBV finds use in medical devices like sutures, implants, and drug delivery systems.

Answer 7: Non-narcotic analgesics are a group of medications that relieve pain without causing drowsiness, addiction, or the other side effects associated with narcotic (opioid) pain relievers. They work by reducing the body’s production of inflammatory chemicals that contribute to pain sensation. Example, Acetaminophen (paracetamol)

Answer 8: Tranquilizers are a class of medications used to reduce anxiety, nervousness, and agitation. Example; Chlorpromazine, Alprazolam (Xanax) etc.

Answer 9: Ziegler-Natta catalyst is named after Karl Ziegler and Giulio Natta to polymerize poly 1- alkene. This catalyst is used as it produces a variety of important polymers and is highly stereoselective.

TSBIE 2nd Year Chemistry Question Paper 2024 Pattern

The TSBIE 2nd Year Chemistry Question Paper 2024 pattern is out in the public domain. The pattern help students to know about the number of questions present in the paper along with the sections in the question paper. The TSBIE 2nd Year Chemistry paper 2024 consists of a total of 21 questions. These 21 questions are divided into three different sections: Section A, Section B, and section C. The total time given to solve the exam paper is 3 hours. The II year Chemistry question paper of Telangana Board comes in two languages, English and Telugu. The detailed exam pattern is given below.

  • The exam paper is divided into three sections
  • The section A of the question paper contains very short answer type questions with two marks each. Every answer in this section should be limited to two or three sentences. There are 10 questions in this part from Q. No. 1 to Q. No. 10. All questions of this section are compulsory.
  • The section B of the chemistry question paper consists of questions from Q. No. 11 to Q. No. 18. The questions in this section are of short answer type. There are 8 question out of which students need to answer any six questions. Each question of this section carries 4 marks. Every answer must be limited to 75 words.
  • The section C of the TSBIE 2nd Year Chemistry Paper 2024 contains 3 questions from Q. No. 19 to Q. No. 21. The questions in this section are of long answer type. The marks for each question of this section is 8 marks. Each question of this section must be answered within 300 words.

Raoult’s law for non-volatile solute : The relative lowering of vapour pressure of dilute solution containing non-volatile solute is equal to the mole fraction of solute.
