Individuals who completed 10+2 or advanced studies directly via open universities without foundational qualifications are ineligible.

Bachelor of Arts in Economics Students need to have finished 10+2 or an equivalent program with a minimum of 50% overall marks.

To pursue a Major/Minor in Economics, the candidate must have completed Mathematics during high school. The maximum age is 22 years on July 1, 2025.

BA Political Science Students must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
B.Com (Hons)/ B.Com (Homs) in Financial Market Management Candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with one of the following subjects: Commerce, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Financial Markets Management, or applicable Vocational Courses. A candidate needs to achieve at least 50% overall marks and must have successfully completed the designated subject. The oldest age permitted is 22 years as of July 1, 2025.
Bachelor of Science (Hons.) in Agriculture Candidates should have finished their 10+2 or comparable examination with coursework in Agriculture or Science, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. The least total score needed is 50%. Individuals must be aged between 16 and 25 years as of July 1, 2025.
Bachelor of Technology in Dairy Technology / Food Technology Candidates should have completed 10+2 or a similar exam with combinations of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, including English. The least total score needed is 50% or a comparable GPA. Age should range from 16 to 25 years on July 1, 2025.
BSc (Hons) Physics Candidates should have completed 10+2 or a similar exam with a minimum of 50% overall marks. Mandatory subjects encompass Physics, Mathematics, and an extra subject from Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Geography. Students are required to have completed all three subjects successfully. The maximum age must not be over 22 years on July 1, 2025.

Bachelor of Vocation Courses Candidates must have completed 10+2 in any stream or possess a Level 4 NSQF certificate, or any equivalent qualification acknowledged by the University, with at least 50% marks overall. The age must be 22 years or younger as of July 1, 2025.
Shastri Candidates should have completed either the Madhyama exam from BHU, Uttar Madhyama, Upa Shastri, or 10+2/equivalent with a minimum of 50% overall marks. Sanskrit should be among the subjects that are studied and successfully completed.

Candidates who have finished a one-year certificate program in Sanskrit from BHU after completing 10+2 with 50% in both examinations are also qualified. Age cannot be more than 22 years as of July 1, 2025.
