TNEA 2024 provides a single-window admission process, its registration started on May 6th and now applicants can upload the documents till June 12th, 2024. The TNEA registration fee is payable through cards, net banking, and demand drafts. The demand draft (DD) of fees should be paid payable in Chennai to the Secretary, TNEA.

TNEA 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Following are the criteria that students must qualify to be eligible for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions.

Qualifying Exam –  Students must qualify for the Class 12 or equivalent exam from a Tamil Nadi Boaard-recognized school.

Marks Requirement: Students in the general category must have at least 45% in the relevant disciplines and students in the reserved category must have at least 40% marks in class 12.

Qualifying Subjects – candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in their class 12 or equivalent course.

State Resident –  Students must be the locals of Tamil Nadu state or have completed their education in Tamil Nadu

Age Limit – The Maximum age limit for admission is 25 years.

Other eligibility –  They should have a Minimum Height – of 157 cm and a Minimum weight of 48 kg.
Vision – Students should have Normal Color Vision.

TNEA Reservation Criteria

Special reservations are available for students whose parents are ex-servicemen, people with impairments, and athletes, among others.

Documents to keep ready before starting filling TNEA Online Form

The following papers must be uploaded during the application registration process:

1. Keep the original 10th and 12th class mark sheets and certificates.
2. Certificates for the nativity of TN.
3. Proof of special reservations if you have one.
4. Community Certificate for SC ST or OBC applicants.
5. Transfer Certificate.
6. Debit card, credit card, NET banking, UPI, or Demand Draft for paying the registration fees.
